Appearance happens on the inside

Following a legacy of artists’ making holes, I created some experimental holes outside my studio in spring and summer 2020. Over a few weeks I reflected on changes and daily fluctuations in light over a few weeks. Using both 35mm SLR film and digital cameras, I began to think more about the importance of the provisional, transparence and the filmic as a way of noticing things less visible.
